To give a name and a recognizable identity to the modular system for student-curated exhibitions - and hence the project - the term EXPOneer was coined. 

The portmanteau word EXPOneer is composed of the words ‘exposition’ and ‘to engineer’. Together they visualize the activity of the pupils developing and building an exhibition.

The system is based on the Kallax shelves from IKEA, whose square compartments can also be found as an element in the logo again. The handwriting-style second part of the name expresses the dynamic and manual work to be done when building exhibitions. A simple corporate identity in the colors gray and orange strengthens the recognisability of the project.
